Free Ultimate Game Card Codes 2013 October (10 Codes for you to use!)

Hey guys! It's a new month and that means more Ultimate Game Card codes for you to use. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a lot this month compared to last month. I only have 10 codes for you all to use (It was 15 initially but I used 5 of them >_> Don't judge me, lol.)

Since there's so little I'm not putting any of them on this website just so everyone has a chance. You can download it in a text document in the follow link:

Download the 10 Codes for October 2013 here

(Note: This is an ad link so I do get paid maybe a TENTH of a cent every time someone clicks on it. It doesn't cost you a thing except 10 seconds of your time, but it does help me out. Thanks~)

REMEMBER that this is VERY LIMITED so you have to nab the codes right away. I have no guarantee if someone will be thoughtful and use only 1 or 2 codes, or if some jerk uses all 10 for themselves.

Have a good day everyone, and keep on gaming!

NOTE: These codes are EXPIRED! Click HERE to go to the Ultimate Game Card codes for November 2013.

How to Get Free Runescape Membership - No Downloads, No Scams, No Paying

Believe or not, there are so many ways to get Runescape membership that it's not even funny. In the past month I was able to get enough Ultimate Gift Cards to get several YEARS worth of Runescape Membership. This is especially great because Runescape membership is the cheapest effin' thing ever, and unlike other games, you can have access to all of the game for under $10.

Today I want to show you these free online methods. Remember that I use these methods, so I'm damn sure that whatever works for me will work for you.

The only requirement? You have to be 13 years or older, and be smarter than a coconut.

The 3 ways I get Runescape Membership

While there are so many online money-making, gift-getting websites out there that you can join, the below 3 websites are the ones I join and participate in for the sake of getting Runescape membership. They are all free and it does take a bit of hard work, but in most cases you can get your gift cards in a day or two. Work hard for a couple of hours a month and you don't have to pay for membership again!

The first and best method: Points2Shop

90% of my Runescape membership comes from the Points2shop website. Points2shop is a website where you can do simple things like surveys, offers, and you can watch videos, play games, and participate in contests. Don't be scared by the term "surveys" either, because P2s surveys work. I know survey sites get bad reps but P2s is one of the few that actually pays you.

Now when you go to Points2shop and get the points that you need (1000 points), you will be able to purchase a $10 Runescape gift card that will be emailed to you in a couple of days (or if you're a P2s gold rank, like me, you'll get it instantly). It doesn't take more than a couple of hours to rack up 1000 points, and you can use it to buy other things too.

I actually used $10 Ultimate Game Cards because I did not know about the Runescape game card until a few weeks ago, haha. Either way, both of them work to get Runescape membership, but if you're not sure if you want to spend your money on Runescape or another game, the Ultimate Game Card is the better option since you can spend it on multiple games.

You can join Points2Shop by clicking here. Remember that you need to confirm your email when you do so!

The second method: Postloop

Postloop is a website where you get paid to post on forums and blogs. It's really as simple as that. You basically get paid to talk your brains out about whatever you want. Why? Because forum owners want their forums to be active (or appear to be active) so that other people can join the forum as well.

You get paid when you reach $5.00. However, it should be noted that you need a Paypal account for this to work, so if you don't have a Paypal account you can't get paid!

You can wait till $8.00 or so to cash out your money so you don't have to wait till $10.00 if you cash out at $5.00.

It takes about a few hours to reach $5.00, depending on the forums. Again, it's really easy money if you don't like the surveys option.

Third and last method: Slicethepie

This method is a little bit slower than the previous two, but it's probably a lot more fun, especially if you're a musical nerd like me.

Slicethepie is a website where you get paid to review music. All around the world, new artists are releasing music to try to get into the mainstream scene where popular artists are, and it's your job to get them help there! Well, sort of.

When you start you get to pick from a huge list of genres that you want to listen to. This is probably the most important thing because if you choose a type of music you hate (country, rap, rock, etc) you might be listening to that type for DAYS, and you don't want to that or you'll get tired! Choose the types of songs that you want to listen to.

After listening to a song, you will give about a paragraph-lengthed review (preferably longer) and get paid about $0.10 or so. You get your payment when you reach $10.00, and that will go to your Paypal account as well. So make sure you have a Paypal!

That's it!

That's really all I do to get Runescape membership. I do method #1 the most because I enjoy watching videos and doing surveys, but if I get bored, I occasionally go to method #2 and method #3. Choose whatever method works for you! If you got any questions please let me know and leave a comment. Gluck!

Old School Runescape - The Reason Why I bought Runescape Membership

Is it me or is Old School Runescape just absolutely fantastic? I have been playing on this server for a little under a week now and I am getting all these nostalgic "feels" that only Runescape can bring about.

I have played old games before and even though they do bring a little bit of nostalgia, especially MMOs, they never really last that long. It's like finding an old toy and going "Oh, I remember this!", playing with it for a few minutes, and then stuffing it back in the attic box where you won't see it for another 5 years.

But with Old School Runescape, it's different. Yes there's a sense of tediousness when it comes to a lot of things like training, mining, fishing, etc., but I find that I'm really enjoying the monotony. The world is also a lot more populated than I thought it would be, and the community is a LOT more friendlier than the community in Runescape 3. I think most of the players are 20-year-old-somethings who grew up from playing Runescape in 2002-2007 and have their own money (so no 12 year olds begging their mums for their credit card), so now they've grown up and, thus, are less douchebagy. Hurray!

Why You Should Join Old School Runescape

If you aren't convinced already from all the good stuff I said above, here are other reasons why you should join OSRS:

  • Friendly and Active Community. Like I said before, you're going to meet a lot of people who are willing to be friends with you. On my first day, in fact, I was given 30K from a complete stranger, and I made 3 friends! That's a whole lot better than the no money, zero friends from my first two weeks of playing Runescape 3.
  • The Wilderness is thriving with activity. That's right - the old wilderness that hasn't been touched since God-knows-when is now thriving with awesome activity. The main wilderness ground is north of Edgeville, however, instead of North Varrock.
  • The economy is a lot more competitive and items are in huge demand. Unlike the Grand Exchange where people can easily monopolize and increase/decrease prices in the market based on supply and demand, the current economy doesn't have a GE so there's a lot less monopolizing going on.
  • The worlds feel a lot more "fuller" than Runescape 3. You see a lot more players roaming around and talking with each other. Runescape 3, on the other hand, even if they do have a lot more players, feels very cold and distance, like a shell of what the game once was.

Runescape 3 stuff that you will NOT see in Old School Runescape

  • Grand Exchange.
  • Dungeoneering.
  • Evolution of Combat (EOC) system.
  • New graphics (all graphics are of the old)

And you can get membership for under $8.00

It costs about $7.95 (if I'm not mistaken) to get one month of Runescape membership. That is honestly the easiest thing ever! What is $7.95, a Big Mac Meal at Mcdonalds? 2 gallons of gas? Facebook credits on Candy Crush Saga? For less than $8.00 you're getting a whole month of fun! So join today! CLICK HERE TO GET MEMBERSHIP.

Runescape Bonds - Why this is a HUGE step forward for Runescape

For the last 10 years, Runescape has always been that one game that everyone likes to roll their eyes at. It is arguably the most successful browser game and is considered very old (and some people even say horribly out-of-date). For those of us that are 15 years or older, we remember the grade school days when we would go on Runescape.com and fight Goblins, Trolls, and roam the Wilderness to find some unsuspecting newbie players. Even though Runescape still has a long way to go to compete against the biggun's (Guild Wars, Diablo, World of Warcraft, and SOON Elder Scrolls Online), it made an awesome decision when they introduced the Runescape Bonds system.

What makes Runescape an "old game", in some ways, is its out-of-date money system. A lot of free MMORPGs have a cash shop that they can use to make money. And while some online games like FlyFF and Maplestory take it to the extreme, other games like League of Legends keep the cash shop system as a cosmetic element to the game and have great success. Runescape, on the other hand, still has the Membership system, and without subscribing to membership a lot of players are cut-out of thousands of great and fun content.

However, with the introduction of the Runescape Bonds system, Jagex is taking a huge step forward for their game.

What are Runescape Bonds?

A Runescape Bond is a type of currency that can be purchased by players. Runescape Bonds can be used for extra spins, rune coins, and (my favorite) they can be used for 15 days of RUNESCAPE MEMBERSHIP. That's right - just for a bit of in-game gold, you can have 15 days of paid Runescape Membership. How neat is that?

Not only is the Runescape Bond a great F2P feature, but it was also created to combat against gold farmers and gold buyers. According to the Runescape SEO, Mark Gerhard, about 40% to 50% of the Runescape player base has purchased gold from a 3rd party website at least once during their Runescape career.

So is this good for Runescape? Absolutely, and I commend Jagex for making a great decision with this system.
